This is just a start or a draft of ideas I came up for myself...there's a lot I hope to accomplish in my life so this new year will be a new me!

Today was a rainy day, so once my husband got home, I left to take care of some errands. Once I got home I made sure to give him a little surprised :)

Husband Know Best

Happy Friday Everyone!

So Christmas is finally over and now we can look forward to a new year! Time for me to sit down and write down so new year resolutions and believe me that'll take about a day if you ask me.

So as you all know, I had told my husband I didn't want anything for Christmas. Well today he would not stand for it any longer and took me shopping all day! First he took me for the first time to Macaroni Grill and boy was it amazing! They had a 3 course meal for only $10 and it was amazing! Fresh cooked bread, fried mozzarella in a tomato sauce, Cesar salad, and as the meal a delicious ravioli in tomato vodka sauce. Will we return? Oh yes!

Then it was off to shopping. The deal that I told my husband was that I would list what I want but he would have to select what I would buy. Great compromise if you ask me. So the list was:

Shoes

Make up

Dress

Hair Product

Well off to DSW we go! Where he instantly found the perfect boots all by himself!

Then at Forever 21 He chose this sexy dress with a mid slit on the upper body area, something I don't usually wear but after trying it on it definitely made me look good for sure.

We then stopped by Charlotte Russe and he found this beautiful red dress. It has two straps that over lap towards the back and a low V cut on the cleavage area. Once again, not something I've worn before but I definitely love it.

We also stopped by Ultra and he chose this purplish lip stick that wasn't two bright on my lips and an argon oil hair treatment set. So today was definitely filled with surprises because  I had no idea that my husband had such good taste in what he thinks a woman looks good in. Will I let him go shopping for me from now on...YES!

Tis the Season to be Jolly!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

What a beautiful and blessed Christmas did I have this year!!! It was my first Christmas spending it with my husbands family and boy was I in for a blessed surprised!

Every year, my husbands memaw would always cook Christmas dinner and have it delivered to the elderly and this year was no different! Justin's dad and step-mom continued the tradition along side with some volunteers and my husband and I. Check it out!

And there is my sister in law on mash potatoes! All the food here was all hand made! Talk about real home cooked meals.

This little girl was a sweetheart, so was everyone there! Such good people helping others on Christmas day.

This was my job! Pouring the Gravy on the stuffing!

All the Food ready to be delivered!!

My husband wanted me to experience the true meaning of why they do this for the elderly, So once all the food was packed up and everyone had their routes to take, Justin took me on his. We met this grandma, grandpa, and their grandson whom were just the sweetest. We were most likely the only people who visited them because I swear the happiness and love they showed just blessed my heart. What brought me and my husband to tears was when the grandpa asked if we could all say a prayer. Though life isn't easy for him he still prayed for others to be blessed the way he was. It was then that I truly understood the meaning and as always memaw's heart is truly amazing. She dedicated many years to help others on this special day and her son as well just to bring joy to others heart. This one of the million reasons why I have so much love and respect for my husbands family. Happy birthday Memaw you will never be forgotten...your blessing still pours into our hearts everyday.

My husband and little brother in law

After the deliveries were done, we went to my husbands aunt Danelle and uncle David's Christmas party where I got to see my husbands cousin Blake and his girlfriend Jessica who is such a sweetheart! Not to mention his cute sons!!! They were adorable!!

So much food and it was amazingly good!!! I cooked lumpia for them and they loved it!! Thank you auntie Danelle for an amazing dinner! I loved your sweet potatoes!

My husband eating alot!!!

My husband's cousin Amber, and his little sister Angel. Amber teaching Blake's oldest how to flip!

We even stopped by my husbands uncle Dwayne and his lovely wife Miss Amy to be surprised by her hand made gift to us! Isn't she just amazing!

And to end this awesome day, my mother in law and her family stopped by so I could cook them some lumpia as well! I'm so glad I got to see them for Christmas! And tomorrow I promise to use my nail table my mother in law got me!

NOW FOR THE FINALE

PRESENTS

This year I told my husband I didn't want anything for Christmas, that all I wanted was for him to be happy. So I spoiled him! Though he didn't like the idea of not getting my anything, I refused any gifts because I truly wanted him to have everything. He does so much for me everyday, there's no way I wouldn't want to spoil him.

First gift I got him a Forever 21 jacket...sooo stylish!

And yes these are dragon balls! My husband is a huge fan, so you already know he was so happy to get this!

Along side with everything else I got him, my mom spoils him with a bunch of Hollister shirts and a sweater! Now he cant say he doesn't have anything to wear! THANKS MOM!

But don't worry my mom didn't leave me empty handed! This box was filled with Clothes, makes up and jewelry!! LIKE OMG mom!!!

I'll show you a few of things she got me!
Beautiful hollister dress. Reason why I love hollister is because their sizes run small and fit comfortably on me.

H&M night gown

MK Blouse

What a blessed Christmas I had this year, though I wish my parents were here to spend it with me, i'm so happy I have a second beautiful family down here I can call my own...

Butterfly

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Almost time for Christmas and boy am I exhausted from shopping and watching my debit card explode from the many transactions I've made. But at least I got everyone gifts and those we couldn't see sent to em!

So besides the crazy thunderstorms, today had surprises that brought happiness to my soul. Life has had its crazy moments and sometimes we all lose our path on where we're going. But I always know that time heals all wounds and forgiveness washes over our souls cleansing our minds of the hurt. Isn't that the greatest part of being human? Making mistakes, learning from them, and moving on?

With this being said, let me dedicate some time to a special someone....You know who you are

Your beautiful in a special way, you have always reminded me of a butterfly. You never see them being scary, ugly, rough, only beautiful, gentle, graceful, and always never the same. There are so many differently butterfly's all coming in their own unique individual way. That's why no one can ever replace you. You are your own beautiful self, you do things in life following your own beat, trampling through the messes.

Always know that though the thoughts and words never reached you, i hope that our souls meet somewhere where we can connect and find that missing piece we are looking for because lord knows i yearn for that person that you are...You are always loved and thought about, prayers find you when life seems stiff, and strength holds you when you feel like falling. If had a time machine, there are things i wish i could change, but one thing i wouldn't change is meeting you. Because I had to, i needed to, i wanted to meet you...All my life i waited for the day where love would find me and it did, and with love stood the person who gave me my soul mate, So thank you, I owe my happiness to you. Life would've been different if all that i was blessed with today was gone. I hope one day that little bit of light in me shines through and you see it, because even in the blackest of holes is the light at the end of the tunnel.

TS

A special Thank you to my mother in law for surprising me with my nail table! I totally love it and cannot wait to use it soon!

This is my mother in law and husband. Such a great picture of them!

Seoul Cuisine, Never Again

Hey Sunday Everyone!

It's really been a busy week for me! Christmas shopping, daily wife duties, looking for apartments/ houses, time has really strained itself from me. But thankfully today seems a lot slower as usual, so I thankfully open my arms to it! Though I wish my husband didn't have to work, I understand that we can't turn down that extra pay check since Christmas is right around the corner and our first New Years! Yes our first! Last year I had to go away with my brother on a road trip so we weren't able to spend it together. But i'm planning a nice romantic getaway.

Now this weekend what did I do???

Well Saturday consisted of us finishing our Christmas shopping and refueling our fridge for next week. Now Save A Lot was my go to grocery store, but I had to settle for Walmart. Oh how I hate Walmart. Why you ask? Because you think you go there for one thing and end up spending more than your originally came for.

But before we went shopping, we had to grab a bite to eat and boy did I get reminded that eating Asian food in the south is the worst thing to do. The place we went to eat was a Korean restaurant called Seoul right by our place. My husband ordered a chicken stir fry that only consisted of 5 pieces of small chicken and all vegetables, and yes he hated it and for the price he had to force himself to eat it. I ordered what I thought was spicy pork BBQ, and it had small slices of pork and a pound of vegetables. This was by far the worse Korean food I have ever ate. Will we return? NO WAY!

But at least Friday night we had our amazing date night at Fuji Steakhouse. I ordered Sake to enjoy and of course my husband hated it, so I had to drink the whole thing myself...

Mmm I love my spicy tuna roll and spider roll! That is one thing the south has yet to mess up on, is their sushi. And yes that's my beer...beer and sake, NO GOOD!

And here is my baby enjoying his Christmas gift. He loves his new bed!

Husbands Love Pedicures Too!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Monday is gone and now my week can go slower as usual....

Now onto my blog topic! On me and my husbands anniversary I bought him a foot spa, promising him two pedicures a week. Maybe I didn't think this through enough or something but who knew he would be the most sensitive when it came to his feet. And this comes from someone who cleans her nails once a week, every week. Not saying i'm rough when it comes to cleaning cuticles, but even when i just touched it he would scream ow! Really? Well after an hour of cleaning this man untouched feet, it looks and feels amazing. He was glad to see his feet looking a lot cleaner and healthier.

I am also happy to announce that my husband will be getting me more pedicure supplies and a nail drill for Christmas So excited!!!

Ahh, Can you say relaxation? This was a great buy from walmart. Its simple and does the trick. I've always felt like why spend so much on the machine when yours hands are the most healing part to a good foot massage! Use what you were blessed with!!

End result! My husband has such rough feet, and now they are so cute and pretty! He wasn't so into the clear nail polish, But he'll get use to it.

I couldn't not show you guys my new design! All done by me. Had to show off my Christmas spirit!

All the polishes I used for this design! The glitter is from Victoria secret, which im pretty sure they stopped manufacturing (so sad). Green(303CP)and blue(775CP) colors are from pure ice. And the two pastel colors, Breezy Blue 481 and Lacey Lilac 270. The clear coat is by wet and wild "Spoiled".

Just like my mom used to tell me, You can tell a lot about someone from their hands and for a woman their hands and feet. So every once in a while everyone cater to your man! When he comes home tired from a day at work, pamper him! Not everyone likes feet, but a man can definitely appreciate his woman taking care of his. And your wondering who did i learn from? Well my mother actually gave pedicures to my dad. Has been since I can remember. He has diabetes so she always maintained his feet which if you know much about diabetes their feet is very important and also you must take caution when doing their feet. So thanks mom!

Ole Jefferson's

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Has the week already come to an end?? Oh well, it only means we must enjoy what's left accordingly and that's exactly what we did! Since the weather hasn't lighten up and my husband and I really didn't want to catch the cold again, we decided to visit one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Chattanooga, TN.

They're called Jefferson's, located at 618 Georgia Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402. This place is a bar style restaurant that adapts to styling the whole restaurant in dollar bills! Here i'll explain...

Here is my husband standing in front of the entrance! During the summer time, we loved going here and eating at the patio area.

And here is the inside!

Now if you haven't noticed by now, the walls are filled with dollar bills decorated by customers. If you ever decide to try this place, leave your mark! Just decorate your dollar bill and ask the waitress if you can place it on the wall and she'll give you pins to do so! Love the idea!

The menus are very basic with bar food in my opinion except I've never heard of a bar selling oysters and differently styles of it? Now my husband is the pickiest man i have ever met when it comes to food and oysters are the last on his list of loves. But Jefferson's has a oyster dish called The Rockefeller and its to die for!

Its oysters baked with spinach, artichoke, Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of bread crumbs. If your not a huge seafood fan, this will definitely change your mind! Once you detach the oyster from the shell, place the whole bit in your mouth. Now your maybe thinking its slimy and of course oysters have that watery, salty, taste but they bake these for about 10-15 minutes to where it isn't too slimy but warm and cheesy. You can taste all the ingredients in that one bite. If you like spinach artichoke dip, you'll love this!

After that great adventure, we stopped by a place that I have now change my thoughts about. Retail store Ross. Going into there and finding all these greats buys, i couldn't resist! I don't know if it was the season change and they were given more retail to work with but whatever the case was keep it going!

This was the last bamboo carpet they had and I just couldn't pass on it! Great price especially for how big it is!

Now I will admit, I do spoil my fur baby Kaiyu a lot and anytime I can find a dog toy for cheap I'll grab it. Ross has a section for all dogs. From beds and blankets, to dog toys and shampoos. All discounted at that! This toy is called Ruff Toys and I wish i had heard about them before. My kaiyu will tear any toy we give him into bits and eat them! So for weeks I have not been able to find a toy he wont obliterate in 10 minutes. This toy came in a set of 3 for $7.00 and they are HUGE!

So cautiously, I placed them down and here comes kaiyu ready to go to work on the toys.

And to my surprise, he's done everything possible and nothing! No tears, rips, stuffing, absolutely nothing! And on top of that he loves them! Though they are huge on him, he could care less since he thinks hes invincible! So if you have a puppy who is just tearing up all his toys like the threads, braids, rope, and even kongs, try this! I'm not sure if all Ross stores have this but I know the one in Chattanooga, TN does!
