About Me

Kamusta Po everyone! Welcome to my life, my life as I make it... Born half Filipino and half African american, and so proud of my roots. Both my parents have raised me to embrace my culture and many traditions i hold to my heart. Virginia is my first home and the Philippines will always be my forever home. From the sandy sea, to the beaches, to the many mountains, and volcanoes you can see from afar, oh how i miss it. I recently married my best friend, Justin Mark Tant  on 12-12-13. After many years, I can truly say he is my best life decision i have ever made. I've decided to start up a blog because I've always had this artistic, hardworking side of me but i have never truly put it up for its true potential. Cooking is my life and i love creating dishes for people who have never tried pure Filipino food. But I also love embracing other cultured foods like Thai, Korean, and of course Chinese with some occasional Sushi treats. I also started embracing my designer part of myself which loves to take old furniture and breath life into their old bark roots. while on the other side of the spectrum I have decided to go back to school for not only my paralegal studies but to pursue my dream to be an nail artist.  This is my journey..the road looks bumpy and rough, but with the right shoes...i'll make it ~Tracey~
