DIY Pallet BookCase

Happy Friday Everyone!

It's finally Friday! Even though it doesn't feel like it. But hey i'm ready for the weekend! No plans as of now, but something will eventually be planned as usual.

So I know its been looking quite lonely on my DIY section, so today I will be surprising ya'll with a project me and my husband have been working on for a few weeks now. It would've taken just a day or two to do but we've been so busy with the holidays lately we've lost the time for our projects!

But here I present our pallet made bookcase. My husband took apart two pallets, I made the measurements of how wide and tall I wanted it to be and my husband made the idea come to life.

This is the Before picture. This was all sanded, measured, sawed off, and nailed together by my husband.

This is the After product! He nailed onto the pallet stable boards to prevent it from swaying or wobbling and stabilizers on the shelves to make sure they could handle the weight from the books. We then finished by staining the bookcase with an autumn stain color we got at Oldies for $4.99! And we still have more than half of the can left.

Special Thanks to my Husband for a job well done!

Till Next Time
